League leaders Chelsea ended Fulham's unbeaten season to date.

Fulham lost 6-1 to Chelsea at the Cobham Training Ground on Saturday morning. After Jayden Harris opened the scoring, Chelsea stormed to victory with five goals in the last quarter of an hour of the first half.

This was a top of the table clash, with league leaders Chelsea not having dropped a point or conceded a goal this season in the PL South. The only team to have scored more goals than the Blues up till this match was Fulham in second place.

One minute in and Chelsea’s Dyner Simuw lunged clumsily into Reece York, winning a free kick central 25 yards out. Matt O’Riley stepped up and went for power, trying to sneak the ball inside the right post but only just going wide.

Five minutes into the match and the Young Whites had had the stronger of the starts. Cameron Thompson tracked back and won possession. He sprinted towards the goal and got the first shot on target.

It took till the 10th minute for Chelsea’s first shot as Jose Garrido charged down Billy Gilmour’s effort.

Two minutes later Harris was pulled to ground as he tried to play Thompson in and was awarded the free kick.

O’Riley stepped up once more in a similar position to the last and elected to curl and shot at the top left. It was a good effort but read well by Nicholas Tie, in goal for the Blues.

The Young Whites had dominated the opening 20 minutes of the match and they gained their just rewards with the opener.

Santos-Clase sprinted in from the left creating a three on two, he drew his defender flicked the ball through to Harris, and he slipped it under Tie.

The goal was deserved, but it also changed the match on it’s head. Chelsea stepped their game up several gears as they scored three in five minutes, and two more in the eight after that.

It took five minutes for Chelsea to equalise. A corner was headed clear, and as the ball fell to Gilmour, he struck in on the volley and tucked it into the near post.

Their second quick-fire goal came two minutes later as Tariq Lamptey in space crossed from the left as Martell Taylor-Crossdale was able to head under pressure into the back of the net.

Two minutes passed and it was another goal for the Blues and a second for Taylor-Crossdale.  He rifled his effort into the bottom right, past Ashby-Hammond to make it 3-1.

In the 37th minute Chelsea widened the hap even further. James crossed a ball from the left across the face of goal and Daishawn Redan slammed it into the back of the net.

Three minutes later and the dominance continued. James, this time from the right, swept a ball to Taylor-Crossdale. He slammed the ball straight into the net for his first half hat trick to make it 5-1.

Second half started quickly, Thompson was through on goal looking for Fulham’s second, but Tie rushed out and made an excellent save.

Chelsea were pressing and the second half was about damage limitation for the Young Whites. Ashby-Hammond made a fantastic save in the 56th minute as Lamptey cut in from the left and attempted to curl on into the top left.

Eight minutes later though Chelsea got their first goal of the second half, Taylor-Crossdale competed for a ball on the 6-yard line but couldn’t direct anything at goal. The ball fell fortuitously to Tino Anjorin as he poked the ball into the back of the net.

The last half an hour Chelsea pressed and the Whites held, the substitutes helped breath life into the team, but there was no way back into the game after the first half.
