In League One, Marek Rodák made his debut for Rotherham United between the sticks. The Millers went on to beat Bury 3-2 at home.
Rotherham led twice through Kieffer Moore, but each time Bury found a way back into the match until Richie Towell scored in the 89th minute to put the game to bed and secure all three points to push them up to ninth in the league.
Over in Russia, Ragnar Sigurdsson played the opening 69 minutes for Rubin Kazan in their 1-0 away loss to Spartak Moscow, he was substituted for Yegor Sorokin. Rubin Kazan are sixth in the Russian Premier League.
In the Championship, Cauley Woodrow was an unused substitute for Bristol City as the West Country team went on to win 1-0 and the Madejski Stadium, with Aden Flint scoring late on.
